After helping the team at Emma’s Cottage workshop a name for their new wines, the next challenge was putting a brand identity together. Alter Wines' name represented a change for the Hunter Valley winery, and they needed a cool and quirky brand to go with it.
The team requested a logo and six wine labels to begin with. The logo needed to be able to work with several different wine labels, as the team envisioned expanding on the initial six.
After consulting the winemaker, I created a series of hand-drawn patterns to complement the unique taste of each wine and the Alter logo, which is chunky, eye-catching and fun. These illustrations have become part of the Alter brand story and are now being used throughout their creative collateral, primarily in their social posts, eDMs, tasting notes and signage.
